Loyal Orange Lodge (L.O.L.) #2123

Hamilton, Ontario

Centenary Parade

The centenary parade, held on June 6 2009, was a rousing success. A very large turnout was led by the Govan Protestant Boys Flute Band, and a fantastic time was had by all in attendance. There was also a dedication of the lodge's new banner, and a wreath laying by a veteran of the Normandy landings.

Video from the day can be found on our YouTube site.

Burns Supper

The first annual Burns Supper was hosted by L.O.L. #2123 on the evening of Friday, January 23.

Held at the Pheasant Plucker on Augusta Street, the evening was a rousing success with around 40 people in attendance. The guest speaker, Mr. Glen Templeton, entertained the attendees with a witty and entertaining Immortal Memory. The food and company were excellent, and the lodge raised significant sums of money.

All credit should go to Wor. Bro. G. Macdonald Snr and Bro. J. Findlay for setting up a wonderful night, and hopefully this will be the start of many such occassions.
